St Rose Choir September 11, 2022

The St Rose Choir (9:30am mass) will resume its musical activities for the 2023-24 season, with rehearsals beginning on Thursday evening, September 7th, 7pm, and Sunday masses on September 10th.  The choir, which consists of approximately 25 members (sopranos, altos, tenors, basses), is directed by St Rose Music Director/Organist Joseph Jacovino.  Rehearsals and Masses take place in the church choir loft.  The choir sings arrangements of hymns, psalms, chants, and anthems designed to embellish the music at the 9:30am Sunday mass, as well as at special events and religious holidays.  The choir plans all of its repertoire months in advance, and all music is made available on a choir website, for members to listen to and practice. The choir greatly enjoys its musical ministry of singing praise to God, and the continuous fellowship of its various members.  For more information, contact Joe Jacovino, Director, at:
Or stop in the choir loft after any mass.

And now some words from the Choir Manager:

Welcome to the St Rose Choir web site.  The choir is led by the parish Music Director Joseph Jacovino.

The choir sings at the 9:30 AM Mass on Sundays from the week after Labor day through the Feast of Corpus Christi. We also sing Christmas Eve, Holy Thursday, the Easter Vigil and our three Confirmation services.

All scheduled masses at St Rose are audio streamed, so you can listen to us over the internet. The 4:00 PM Vigil Mass and the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass and other selected special services are video streamed over the Voice of St Rose.
The Voice of St Rose audio and video streams can be accessed from the St Rose Church home page through the link to the Voice of St. Rose in the middle of the home page.
The video stream and archived recordings can also be accessed directly via  StreamSpot and the church YouTube channel.
